Why is a shoe fitting for my child so important?

Getting your child's shoe size measured can be a bit of a daunting task, we know. Fidgety hands and wriggly toes all add to the excitement that is getting your feet measured. For those reasons, it can be pretty easy to decide against it all and just buy them a decently priced pair of shoes that fit. What's the difference?
As it happens, the types of shoes your child wears has a much bigger influence over their growth and development than once thought. The wrong style of shoe can lead to issues with posture, back pain and walking technique to name a few. Fortunately, our friends over at The Society of Shoe Fitters have given a detailed process that parents can use when buying the right shoes for their little ones.
We've put some of these essentials into the graphic below so that you can see for yourself!
